The Mad Scientist visited every class this morning and was so impressed by what he saw!
Every class has done lots of fantastic exploration and discovery. Everyone’s Science learning has been out of this world!

We have continued with our fabulous science learning today – learning all about making slime, bouncy balls and balloon magic. Today the best thing happened to me, children in Class 6V stopped me to tell me all about the amazing learning they had done; #learningisinfectious

Today was the launch of Science Week at Ladywood. We were delighted to have Professor Auroa joining us to make our Sublime Slime Day even more terrific.
We have learnt how to use different ingredients to make sweets and all about gravity – even managing to defy it at times! In addition, we got to make our very own SLIME!
We had so much fun exploring and investigating and are now wondering what tomorrow will bring!

Ladywood School has been a hive of activity once again. We started our week with Book Day and all the children (and staff) looked amazing. We are all very busy with our curriculum learning with educational visits to lots of exciting places.
Next Week it is Science Week and there are lots of investigations planed. On Monday we have ‘Sublime Science’ Workshops planned and at the end of the week we will be visited by a ‘Mad Scientist’.

Next week Ladywood has an amazing Science week planned. The week will be launched on Monday with a whole school assembly.
On Friday for Comic Relief the children are being encouraged to wear red for a money donation. We have lots of fun activities planned and children are being encouraged to share a joke in the class assembly.
The following week we have a special surprise delivery for the children. I won’t spoil the surprise but the staff are very excited 😊
