Happy Halloween

This week, we have been focusing our learning around Halloween (particularly the “5 Little Pumpkins” song).

We have taken part in lots of fun activities including decorating pumpkin biscuits, carving pumpkins, making skeletons using cotton buds and having a Halloween disco! What a brilliant way to finish off our first half term in Primrose Class! All the children have settled into Little Ladywood so well and we couldn’t be prouder of them!

Enjoy your half term break,

Hannah and Joanne

Hello and Happy World Mental Health Day (for tomorrow)!

Today, we have taken the opportunity to celebrate all of our emotions by identifying why we are kind using symbols, singing our ‘Happy song’ and encouraging the children to tell us how they are feeling using our emotions chart. We have embraced #helloyellow by exploring yellow sensory trays, having yellow snacks at tuck time and choosing between yellow bubbles and balloons. What a lovely Friday.

Have a lovely weekend and make sure you all take time for yourselves to relax!

McMillian Coffee Morning

Today, we have taken part in the McMillian Coffee Morning. We had a special tuck where we tried different types of cakes and biscuits and then explored the sensory area which had been set up with lots of different activities! We decorated cupcakes, role played making our own cupcakes in the home corner, made cupcakes out of playdough and took part in the Teddy Bear’s Picnic!

What a busy morning!

Have a lovely weekend 🙂

Our second week in Primrose Class

We’ve had a fantastic second week in Primrose Class and have all settled into our new school really well! We have been learning all about Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and taking part in lots of fun activities in class including star printing, counting stars, playing outside and playing with the playdough!

Have a lovely weekend!
