What a week!

Wow – this week in 6L has been amazing. Lots of lovely learning!

During Topic Maths we enjoyed continuing our capacity learning using lots of different sensory items. Everyone enjoyed using the materials to make our own ‘full’ ‘half full’ ‘quarter full’ and ’empty’ bottles. We also compared to see which had the ‘most’ or ‘least’.

In our computing learning we are learning coding. This week everyone inputted their own instructions to make the van move to the house! We also made the ladybird travel to the shark! Super learning 6L!

This week in Number we did some brilliant number formation using the shaving foam and singing to our number songs. We then also did our tricky learning during 1:1 time and everyone tried so hard! Amazing!

During our RE learning we made a large ‘Star of David’ in attention autism. We all loved the bright colours. Then we made our own stars with lots of bright glitters. They look fabulous hung up in our classroom.

In our English learning this week we made a word map of ‘Seaside’ and we engaged really well in our sensory story. We annotated it too this week and wrote sounds, sentences and letters. Brilliant!

Well done 6L on another wonderful week of learning.

We hope everyone has a lovely weekend with their families and thank you for your continued support!
