Today we are going to learn about Haiku poetry and practice our writing skills.
What is a Haiku Poem?
Haiku poetry is traditional in Japan. Each haiku only has 3 lines and the lines follow a pattern of syllables 5 – 7 – 5.

Remember to count the syllables in each line to check the pattern matches the format.
