In 3J this term we have been making lots of different art piece about the sea, linked to our

we also have been making plant pots from recycled tin cans. we went down to the forest and planted them with flowers.

Religious Education

Hello and welcome to a very rainy Tuesday in 3J.

As part of our Religious Education this term we have been learning all about Hinduism.

We have learnt about Hindu Temples and the god Brahman and how worship takes place amongst Hindus. we looked at how to create a Puja tray. The items include a bell, a pot of water, a diva lamp, an incense burner, a pot of kum kum powder, and a spoon.

 

In our next lesson on Hinduism we learnt a  we learnt about Brahman many other Gods to be his helpers. These gods have different aspect that they worship. we voted on which god we would build a shrine for.

 

We decorated put shine with flowers and a picture of Ganesha.

We have really love uses art in our RE lesson, and looking forward to learning more about Hinduism.

Monday Mindful

On Friday 3J took part in the Macmillian Coffee Morning.

 

We loved eating cakes and dancing to the music. 3J would like to say a big thank you to everyone that donated money and treats for Macmillian.

 

Today we have been looking at what we could do to stay calm  when we are worried.  we enjoyed yoga as it helped us relax.

We have had a lovely day

Welcome back!

The children are having lots of fun settling into 3J at Ladywood.

They exploring lots of new activities every day and getting use to their new class team.

 

 

This week in Chestnut Class the children have enjoyed money tuck. Counting out how much their tuck cost and recognising the coins.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our Topic in term is ‘I like to move it, move it” were we have been learning about our difference senses we smelt nice and horrible smells like orange and perfume. We listened to different noises and tried to guess where they came from. We particularly loved tasting the food.
