Recycling in 2C

Today in the forest we have been thinking about how to save our planet. We have read a story all about Morris the Messiest Magpie and we wanted to help him clean up our environment. We couldn’t believe it when we watched a video by David Attenborough and saw how dropping litter can damage our world.
We worked as a team to clean up all of the litter that had blown into our forest and then thought about separating it into different boxes and sending it to be recycled… this means making it into something new!

First few weeks

2C have settled back into the school routine very well.

This week we have looked at our school environment and decided we liked it, been on a ‘s’ hunt in the forest, shown how clever we are at maths, had a fun time learning about colour mixing (sorry for the messy clothes) and had lots of fun outside.

Welcome to our blog

Our blog will be updated regularly with photos of our learning. There will be information about school events and examples of children’s learning and also additional work and support for children at home.
Our class blogs provide a safe environment to share all the fantastic learning we do at Ladywood.

Please feel free to comment and give us feedback on any of our posts. Your comments will be monitored before going live and then will  be shared with the children.
Enjoy!
