20th Anniversary Celebrations

Last week we celebrated our schools 2oth year by doing lots of exciting things. We made a massive art attack of our school logo, had a party, decorated and printed butterflies and sang our own celebration song. It was such an exciting week with lots of fun which cheered the whole school up. We have added. This week we have been learning about forces, pushing and pulling. The children really enjoyed pushing and pulling Paul and each other. We even tried pushing each other using a balloon surprisingly it didn’t burst!

Highly Commended!

Ladywood School has been ‘Highly Commended’ in the Bolton Schools’ ICT Online Safety Competition!  Class 5M entered their ‘top tips for online safety’ video and received the book ‘Oscar’s Adventures in the Online World’ as their prize!  This was part of the preparations for Safer Internet Day 2020.

Happy Safer Internet Day!

Today is Safer Internet Day throughout the country and today Ladywood School will be learning how to stay safe online!  We will be blogging on our class blogs about what we like to do online and key stage 2 will be blogging about our best online safety tips.  Yesterday, some of our parents attended our ‘Online Safety for Parents’ training which was well received.  Feel free to enjoy watching our video by 5M, giving us their tips for staying safe online!

Stay safe!
