English – Fine motor skills activities with Niki

Hello everyone!

Today we are going to look at some fine motor skills activities with Niki.

There are plenty of easy ways to strengthen your muscles, practise co-ordination and develop hand-eye coordination using simple, everyday materials and a bit of creative fun!

Play with dough! This can be play dough or baking dough. It can be used in SO many ways by adding other combinations of materials to it, and automatically strengthens your little hands as you roll, squeeze, twist and build with it.

Thread with beads onto pipe cleaners.

Thread, post and slot!

Poke straws into holes.

Make a pasta necklace.

Weave around cardboard.

Poke pipe cleaners through a colander.

Thread beads onto spaghetti.

Write in sand, flour, sugar or coco powder!

Build with bricks.

Paint!
